I've been involved with photography for most of my life, I've had other jobs but there's always been a camera around somewhere!
Photography is a passion for me, it always has been, getting up at 4am in the morning, out in all weather, day or night, always ready to go at short notice or maybe putting a plan in action that I've waited a whole year for the right conditions to come together means you have to be passionate about what you do!
I've been selling my pictures for many years. I can tell the story behind every picture. I've done all types of photography, from weddings to portraits, animals, interiors, commercial, magazines, glamour, landscapes, aviation, action photography, even Miss England and our King and Queen!
I can honestly say I've never had a boring day, every day is different and you never know what's coming next. I love it! Nowadays if the locals see anyone with a camera they think it's me. They're so used to seeing me doing all sorts of crazy things to get the best picture I can, even if it is in the middle of the night in the pouring rain with thunder and lightning flashing all around. It always brings a smile to my my face when there's a big storm and I see comments on social media, "I bet Chris is out in this" because there's a very good chance that's exactly where I'll be!
